Evaluate exponents
To evaluate an exponential expression, write each factor as many times as indicated by the exponential. Then multiply:

 34 = 3·3·3·3 = 81 23·32 = (2·2·2)·(3·3) = 8·9 = 72

Evaluate (-3)2 and -32
(-3)2 = (-3)·(-3) = 9
-32 = -(3·3) = -9

Evaluate $(-\frac{2}{5})^3$

$(-\frac{2}{5})^3=(-\frac{2}{5})(-\frac{2}{5})(-\frac{2}{5})=-\frac{2\;\cdot\;2\;\cdot\;2}{5\;\cdot\;5\;\cdot\;5}=-\frac{8}{125}$

Write the following numbers in exponential form:
$2\text\;x\;2\text\;x\;2\text\;x\;2\text\;x\;2\text\;x\;2\text\;x\;2\text\;x\;2\text\;x\;2=$
