Multiplying powers

Remember that:

$a^0=1\;\;and\;\;\;a\fs2^1\fs3=a$

Multiplying powers with the same base.
You can multiply powers with the same base by adding the exponent.

$a\fs2^n\fs3\;\text\;{x}\;a\fs2^m\fs3=a\fs2^{n+m}$

$3\fs2^4\fs3\;\text\;{x}\;3\fs2^7\fs3=3\fs2^{4+7}\fs3=3\fs2^{11}$

$2\fs2^5\fs3\;\text\;{x}\;2\fs2^4\fs3\;\text\;{x}\;2=2\fs2^{5+4+1}\fs3=2\fs2^{10}$

Multiplying powers with the same exponent.
You can multiply powers with the same exponent by multiplying the bases.

$a\fs2^n\fs3\;\text\;{x}\;b\fs2^n\fs3=(a\;\text\;{x}\;b)\fs2^n$

$3\fs2^4\fs3\;\text\;{x}\;5\fs2^4\fs3=(3\;\text\;{x}\;5)\fs2^4\fs3=15\fs2^4$

$(2\;\text\;{x}\;3)\fs2^5\;=\fs3\;2\fs2^5\;\fs3\text\;{x}\;3\fs2^5$
