Dividing powers

You can divide powers with the same base by subtracting the exponents.

$a\fs2^n\fs3\;\div\;a\fs2^m\fs3=a\fs2^{n-m}$

$3\fs2^{12}\fs3\;\div\;3\fs2^7\fs3=3\fs2^{12-7}\fs3=3\fs2^5$

$2\fs2^5\fs3\;\div\;2=2\fs2^{5-1}\fs3=2\fs2^4$
