Rationalization of the denominator in the radicand
There will be two different cases:

Simple rationalization. Multiply the numerator and denominator of the radicand by such a number as will make the denominator a perfect
nth power (here n = 3) and then remove the denominator from under the radical sign. Example:

Rationalizing binomial denominators. To rationalize a fraction whose denominator is a binomial with radicals of index 2, multiply numerator and denominator by the conjugate. Example:
